Adaptive Antenna Systems for IoT
This project deals with designing and analyzing adaptive antennas for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, specifically targeting Long Range (LoRa) technology operating in the 868 MHz band. It addresses challenges from environmental factors, such as humidity, temperature, and proximity, which affect antenna performance and signal reliability in IoT devices. By developing various antenna designs, the research supports diverse IoT applications ranging from smart agriculture, industrial automation to urban monitoring. Employing an adaptive impedance matching network allows to dynamically adjust to environmental changes, which drastically enhances communication reliability.
