Once again this year, the IEI welcomed schoolgirls to Girls' Day. For one day, they were researchers in communication, measurement, automation and control technology. In small groups, they were able to get to know some of the application areas of electrical information technology - from radio signals and laser measurements to complex control tasks. The Intelligent Automation Systems working group was also involved for the first time this year, where they were able to experience the implementation of fully automated crane operation in smart container ports.
